Where it started
Angéline lives with endometriosis. It is a chronic inflammatory illness. The treatment matters, but so does the plate. Some foods keep the inflammation going, others calm it down.
So we cooked differently. Fewer fast sugars, fewer ultra-processed products, more vegetables and fibre. And it helps. Not the way a drug helps, but enough to be worth sticking to.
The real problem
The list of foods to limit exists. It is public, documented, well known. The problem is not knowing it. The problem is holding to it day after day, recipe after recipe, without turning every meal into a maths exercise.
That is the notebook we built for Angie. You write the recipe, the app does the watching.
The grade watches the inflammation too
That is why the AngieRecipes grade is not only about calories. Every ingredient in the catalog carries an inflammatory index. When you write a recipe, the grade takes it into account, the same way it takes sugars or saturated fat.
- Calorie densityper share
- Sugars and saturated fatpenalise
- Fibre and proteinlift
- Inflammatory indexcaps the grade
A recipe that keeps inflammation going cannot get an A, however light it is on calories.
Who it is for
You do not need a diagnosis to use it. The grade is still a nutritional quality grade, useful to anyone.
But if, like Angéline, your diet is part of the treatment, the app keeps the list for you. You cook, it counts.
The app is called AngieRecipes. Now you know why.
